[Warded to Lexi]

How did your lunch with your biological father go? I went running anyway but wondered all along how it was going for you.

[Warded to Father]
I'm not done with the whole book, but I just finished reading "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" and I've got to say I really like Poe so far.

It's been a week since You-Know-Who's broadcast and we haven't heard back anything about it. It's nerve-wrecking, waiting for the shoe to drop.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did credit Poe as being the inventor of detective fiction. I would also recommend "The Mystery of Marie Roget" and "The Purloined Letter."

I can see the relation, indeed. I've been reading the short stories in order they're printed in the book, but I might jump directly to those two now.

I ... I think it went well. I don't think he believes that I don't want anything from him. But ... I don't know. I think it went well.

Sorry, I didn't mean to babble at you. It's just ... it's weird, you know? I finally met him.

Don't apologize, you're not babbling and I'm the one who asked, aren't I? I'm very glad that it went well. It'll probably take some time before he lets his guards down and believes that you don't want anything. Step by step, you know. Do you have plans to meet again?
