[Warded private]

Valentine's Day's coming and I don't know what to do. Should I invite Mina for something? She didn't give any sign that she'd like more, since the wedding, and Fee said that she doesn't like me.

I'm not thinking about what Fee said. I'm already feeling awkward enough around Miss Ketteridge since she talked to me about her. Not thinking about it.

I'm afraid that my sister made me admit a harsh truth this past Sunday, and it is that I am getting out of shape. So, if I want to be able to continue to enjoy Miss Ketteridge's delicious pastries at the clinic, I better get moving. I'm going to give running every morning before work a try; we'll see how long it'll last.

Cue laughter from all my friends, I know.

I hope that your daughter enjoyed her lessons. I have found a book that I believe would be beneficial for her. It is both age-appropriate and entertaining, while including everything one should know about taking care of a pony or a horse. It is called "It's Saddle Time! Horse Care for Children," if you happen to already have it. If not, I know that my father Zellers Books has it in stock.
